| Thanks for the clarity Liam... It may have been called offside in 87, I don't remember. But are you referring to encroachement?

| There are several encroachements: leaving wall on strike early - before start sound moving over 3 m line in advantage puck before puck is touched not being on surface (snorkel out of water) on equal puck and so forth, but I fail to see how any or all of these rules are ruining the game? We do get into differing terminology even in English which was all sort of speak. Perhaps you are using a word in a manner unknown to me. I remember asking once what 'on the full' meant - used to be in our uw hockey rules: 'if the puck goes out on the full....' making full a noun when we use it as an adjective. Found out it was a soccer term meaning 'on purpose or intentionally.' What were the circumstances wherein you lost your goal????????

| Hi there Duck/Carol, No. I was behind the last player of the opposition in open play and received a pass from my back. Was called up and a free puck given to the opposition because I was 'offside'. My claim to fame. May be the only underwater hockey player ever to be called offside. Does the Guiness Book have a section where this could be recorded?
