Hello Sven,

Was this a serious game? My old club, who I managed to play with in NZ, often play with no barrier, so the puck does go out of play from time to time. Rather than stop play, the player often tries to bring the puck back straight into the playing area (if it is out by more than half a swim lane, then play does stop). This was, the fun practice games keep flowing.

If it was a competiton game, then, definately the player would get sin-bin time for picking up the puck with his free hand and puting down again in the playing area.

cheers,

cheers,
No its was a training game.
But in the dutch competion we have a side line on one side.
So its posible that this happend.

And what about the other fouls?

I happy to hear that you like most movies i post.

Make the question easy. who shot the puck outside?
(the one that shot it outside did it on-purpose. you can see that on how he is positioned.)

But indeed this one was scrapping the barrel.
i need new movies. or old movies that i have not seen.

Have found another one. Who want that one to see.

I love the movies Sven. Keep them coming.

I'm with Southernpuck on this. Black deliberately knocked that out so advantage white puck.

The white player did pick the puck up but I'm not certain he was attempting to gain advantage from it. We have a similar problem in Sydney with one sideline being 'soft'. In such circumstances I would probably use my free hand to grab a puck that has already started sliding into the the dive well. I wouldn't throw it back into play like that though...

Perhaps it would be better just to warn the white payer not to reintroduce the puck into play rather than penalise on a one off?

Ive only every played once with the "soft" line and it confused the hell out of me, and i also hated it.
But as far as i see it the white player just keeps the game moving by collecting the puck, and he does not use it to his advantage as he just flick it away from the slide line and then goes to the surface allowing the black team to regain the puck. In trainning this is fine, as it doesnt waste time by stopping for a very small foul.
As i have little experience playing without a wall or barrier on both sides, is it a foul to delibrately push the puck out of play?
