Hello Sven,

Is that the classic sweep under the arm, lifting your playing hand/stick up and off the puck so I can take it? Alot of righ handed players do this against left handed players because they do not know how to tackle them. But in this case, it is a left handed player. Did the referee call it?

Definitely a foul. I'd warn them first time up that they must touch the puck before they can contact the other player, and next time they'd be in the bin.

Where in the movie.
Look closes when the left/right handed player did make contact with the puck or stick.
It was the puck not the hand and stick he hit.

I'll admit I haven't seen the movie (still can't see stuff), so I was going by Southernpucks comment. It's not just whether his stick hits the puck though, if his arm contacts the opponents arm and moves it as he reaches underneath then he's fouling, whether his stick then contacts the puck or not.

I would have said he:

1- Punches the hand/arm instead of the puck on first movement (ZAP)
2- Then follows up with the infamous sweep under the arm tackle (KAPOW)
3- Makes no attempt to go for the puck when the puck goes behind him and he half turns, but purposefully remains lying in the way to block. (BOOM, AND HOLY SMOKES BATMAN)

All 3 punishable.

Nice vid on some annoying fouls.

Don't get the comments you make about the right and left handers - in the vid they are both lefties...

Dont forget holding the arm, whit a non playing hand.(after hitting the puck)
And not good to see. stopping the puck with you fin.(at the end)
But who the black or white player does you mean.(all thre players play on that movie left handed)

But thank for the compliment for the vid. Its not easy to play fouls.
Its compleet played. For a movie. I have another one also.

Hello Jols and Sven,

My error, I picked up one player was left handed, but not both. Other than that small misdemeaner, I am agreeing with Jols. Was there any contact before the video started?

Nice clip tho as it shows the classic curl and sweep under the arm, from the open side, with all of the potential fouls.

Cheers

Iets see on thes snap shots. Al made 1 second for the movie and the bigin from the movies.

photo 1. Left player white takes the puck and brings it to his right side
photo 2. Left player black seen the puck. on his side. and no contact white the puck by the white.
photo 3. Left white and black try to take the puck(no body contact on that moment)
the left white lift his own arm to put his stick to the other side from the puck to bring it back to his left side.
photo 4. the left whit put his hand/stick ontop the black stick and hold with its non playing hand the arm from the black stick player.

Very nice vid.. we tryed to put as many things as possible in it.
