This year at the Perth nationals, they got rid of them and now apparently they're back. Appart from the extra cost involved, they create drag and look silly.
Come on Nicky - we've spoken about the 'why' several times now! :-)

If they're creating drag, you're wearing the wrong sized vest!!! Re looking silly - all the girls told me they thought you looked very sexy in your vest! :-)

personally i think vest should all be about how sexy you are. if you're cut like liam, or under say 35, you shouldn't be allowed to wear a vest, and if you're in a bit of a not-ideal shape, you should cover up. the amount of sun you get should also maybe be a contributing factor.

Hey Simon, I didn't bump this, but I'll have another rant anyway.

No-one likes vests (with good reason) because;

people grab them (yes this did happen to me this nationals), they are not comfortable, look silly (non uwh players that I've shown the video say "But this is a womens game") and the clincher,

THERE ARE NO SPONSORS OR NON PLAYING SPECTATORS TO JUSTIFY THEIR EXISTENCE!!!!

I predict that with another concerted campaign this year, I will finally rid us all of this hated pestillence and restore peace and order to these lands.

Nick, I completely agree with the no vest thing, but everytime it is voted on, there are more states voting to keep them despite numerous players from all states stating they hate them.

Perhaps they aren't voting when their states ask for their input so the state delegate goes to the meeting with a 'keep vests' vote.

And even though the comp rules say wear vests, there's always teams that don't wear them (the international sides at this years nationals).
