fundraising idea's

this one is a bit trickier...
maybe this idea would be good for countries with big cities
as the cost would be higher to set up but anywhere with a high amount of tourists or even people passing by would be good
between a team you could go for the guinness book of records breath hold,now i m not sure if it exists or if it would be possible
so you would have to find a huge aquarium tank.
same idea as the fin swim
first one goes in and holds their breath for what ever they can,lets say 2 minutes then the next one jumps in.
so you could have this in the main street with all the info on tables of hockey and the worlds
and of course people collecting the cash
why i like this idea is becuase its so unusual that you will get soooo much tv coverage and media coverage,not just the collection of money but also possible big sponsor.
we really dont care if we get accross the channel or if we break the world record of breathhold,what we want is the media coverage and the cash and the hype.
so the crazier the idea the better(not that hockey is not crazy enough)

well these are my ideas...

Keep it realistic, acheivable and have a goal!
Make the whole team get involved.
I think clubs like Apex and Lions hire the BBQ for that type of thing.
so now you have told us you have to organise it!

Underwater Hockey Rules!

Steve, there was a water display chamber on display at Melbourne's Federation Square during the FINA World Championships. It was reserved for street performers and acrobats, but perhaps we could see if it is still around and give it a go ;-)

as i said before the only problem you may have is the governmets permission but being for a just cause ,i dont t hink you will have problems.
when asking permission bring in your federation on it,it makes it all more professional and bigger
then theres the insurance not sure how australia is on insurance.
yeah great stuff
make it big go for the world record breath hold,you guys will get so much tv coverage,internationaly never mind in austalia.
maybe if we get a tank here in barcelona we could do a competition between australia and spain...LIVE ON WEB CAM

It is nice to read this discussion.
But it are al short-term one time sulutions.

Maybe its an idea to make a sponsor plan for the long term.
