possibly not the best opponent to be picking, from what i gather of amc. he seems quite bright.

(BTW; Sven's English, Dutch, Spanish, French, German etc etc is superior to all of ours. He might use whatever language he likes in the Cage. Lets see who intelligent & ballsy AMC is)

Sven, Im really excited to try your glove, If I like it I may order and yes PAY MONEY IF I LIKE IT and get more for my club. Home making gear and selling it as fundraiser is a great idea.

amc, have you had first hand experience with svens glove or are you just making trouble? Think that was a little harsh, bit off track with fundraising.

do you have anything elce to add to this fundraising thread?

I'll donate some Danish design Pilgrim Jewellery from work for a raffle - perhaps the girls team heading to NZ might be able to use it?

Also, I raised about $1500 from a trivia night and raffle back in '04 to go to the Worlds. I'd be happy to co-ordinate another for the juniors this year! Maybe I could even use the same questions

We had a small Raffel at a country comp and raised $133 towards the Vic Jounier team. Only $1867 to go.
Thanks to donation from Alex from Yen and Chumba Cnocept Salon.
We have another next Sunday as well.

hi belle , want to organise a fundraiser for the wa juniors aswell. we seem to lazy. haha im kidding. i reckon a good idea would be to have a sausoage sizzle outt the front of bunnings. all the footy clubs do it. i think i twould work well , i always want hotdogs when i go to the hardware store

might promote sport aswell if the team wore there tshirts

The TUHA (Tasmanian Underwater Hockey Association) recently held a fundraising pub crawl with a difference. It was basically like a scavenger hunt. Teams of participants each brought with them a camera, and followed a list of clues which took them to various destinations around Hobart. The had to document their finds on camera. Sounds like a lot of fun. Not sure how clear the photos would have been after a few beers!

why not try a really long fin swim..
long like i mean very very long.
for example
cross channel swim
eg england to france
or north island to south island in nz.
c´mon lads,get the finger out,call yourselves world champs....he he
between 14 players with fins and the aid of a saftey boat where the swimmers can rest.
so you could start off with the captain going forst for a couple of km then she gets out and then the back jumps in, so your not in the water that long.
after all we are all at a high level of fitness 6 months before the worlds
this would be great buildng up to the worlds,like for training and team bonding(no too close lads)
and as you get closer to the event,the amount of press coverage would be phenomenal,who knows what sponsor is out there watching,all you gotta do is collect all the tv programs doing coverage and when its time to approach a sponsor you can show all the tv air time the team members have accumulated.this is what multinational sponsors want...air time,its just like our bottom time
so it all has a knock on affect,training for the fin swim will help training for the worlds,in the process you may get big sponsorship and you get team bonding also
so get sponsorship cards made up.
and find some mad fcukers to do it....
