I understand the rule - I was just a little confused because only men needing to wear vests was mentioned. But, I'm going to assume the rule about 80% is going to be followed - that's all I was unclear about. Cheers.

Any updates on who is sending teams to Nationals? Zoee how are you going getting the Qld team together? Jane how is the ACT team coming along? It would be great if we could get as many teams there as possible.
Also for those of you who are interested in the Aus team there looks like there will be a training camp for two days after the Nationals. Keep this in mind when booking flights. Tommy will confirm times ASAP. Looking forward to having as many girls as possible trying out for the Aus team.

We're workin on getting a QLD team together. Fingers crossed.

The Victorian women's team has just completed selections for the upcoming Nationals in January.

We had an amazing amount of interest with it being a home tournament. 28 women participated in the selections, which of course led to a very difficult decision in naming the team. The coaches have decided to enter a Development team, so all of the girls may benefit from the experience.

When are the rest of the States holding their selections?

I am organising a womens baabaas team to compete at Aussie Nationals. A couple of girls from the Phillipines were supposed to be in our team but they have had to pull out, so we are now down to 6 players.

Are there any women out there who would like to join our team to play in Melbourne? It doesn't matter what country you are from as long as you can make it to Melbourne.

Currently we have Me, Bridget, Jane, Ange & Lizzie from NZ and Sophia from the UK. So we are looking for 4 more players.

Let me know if you know anyone who might be keen.

At Melbourne nationals each player will be required to use an internal or external mouth guard. No specific type or brand.
No mouth guard no play!

Vests are compulsory for all players (or covering 80% of your torso)...
Women may opt for a catsuit which will also fulfill the requirements.

Personally, I like the vests, they look amazingly heterosexual, they are easy to put on and take off and after the tornument they make for fantastic evening wear when heading for a night on the town.
I'd like to hear it made compulsary that all men must wear them to the dinner afterwards.
