Hey. We used this puck (the modified one Meesier made) at our concrete bottom tonight and it worked gloriously. The puck was really bobbly before, but they changes he made have made it glorious.

Steve: Its unfair to say that the pucks bobble is a user error. We all have been playing a very long while and are simply comparing it to other pucks we have used. Also, I know for a fact that a few gold medal bearing masters men thought the puck at nationals was a bit bobbly (likely a result of the light weight you are already fixing).

That being said, the puck is glorious. I dont know how much of a pain in the ass it would be to add the soft ring to all the pucks you make, but if you do, along with increasing the weight, you will have by far the best puck being mass produced. Congratz on a highly successful design!

FTR: When I said Meesier made it, I meant he modified the Uni2 Steve made.

A very funny puck. I did try it in different pools. Most with tile bothems. But in every pool it did play different. Its compleet dipending on the space between the tiles. But on the moveble bothem it did play nice and fast. But on that sort bothem there is no space between anything.

I noticed the same thing. the plates catch the edges and gaps of the tiles, this tends to make the puck bobbly. I found that the plates are not truly flat, the screws seem to cause the plates to be dished in some in towards the center of the puck, this causes all of the weight of the puck to be carried on the circumference of the slider. Of course this also causes it to catch the tile edges.

Luckily its very easy to fix. Just take some 200 grit sandpaper and carefully grind the plates down until you get even wear over the entire surface. This distributes the weight evenly around the puck and it easily glides over the edges, still too light, but much nicer. Of course you could just play it for a while and let it wear naturally, but on tile, that will take forever.

CanAm Uni2 Puck Video

I posted a 2min video of me shooting the Uni2 Puck. You can see the stability and flight of this great puck.

Hi Antoine!

I am very glad that the CanAm Uni2 Puck worked great for the Euro's Club Championship and I hope that it's success will continue to other pools across Europe.
