I'm looking forward to trying them! I currently have Avantitres (38-39) - nice and comfortable, but not as fast as I would like them to be.

@Otto: Judging by your name I thought you were a guy - where are you from?

The pre-production fins has proven themselfs so far with excellance, and it seems that I have taken care of the problems in production. So still carefully, I call the 42-44 number the production fin.

The final version of Legends comes with reinforced footpocket and generally I'll make one stiffness model, but on request I can drastically change stiffness up or down, depends on the wishes. The stiffness can be compared to old graphite ala, and slightly more. Also, the materials used in Legends, are the top of the line polyurethanes, that retains its performances for long time.

Due to this fact, I'll issue every fin with options on bigger or smaller foot, so the size 42-44 has two footpocket variations. One is more towards 42, another is more like 44, but the lenght is the same. This issue has come up while testing the fins. It seems that becouse the materials used dont change performances of the fin while in hard use, the same fact goes for footpocket as well. Basically the two footpockets look the same, and are the same lenght too, but its a big difference when you wear them, specially on long tournaments. I cant stand Sandor's smaller footpocket variant for more than like 30 min, but he feels lacking grip on my size footpocket, and its the same fins with only slight changes to footpocket itself. This differences showed up between most testers that tried them, so I decided to go with two different types of footpockets. A bit more work for me, but when you want the best grip-comfort ratio for yourself, this differences become huge.

I'll add pictures of this final version in few days. Test fins that were promised, can now be delivered... arround the globe.

Woo Hoo! It's Friday morning here and this is even better news than the weekend is upon us. Can't wait to get them in the water. Thanks, Flk, for putting in the time to bring back a hockey legend.

Thanks, Duck. Francois is not going to Cal any time soon, but we'll find some other way to get it there. Production numbers are small for now, but will grow in time. Contact me on email.

Still waiting to test the 44-46 size... Really eager to get my hands on a pair of those..
Indeed with all the improvements Sandor mentioned..

Its Sunday, and even god said its a day to rest, so I made these photos to show you the final production model of Legends...

This is actually the very first fin, to be made only for UWH use, its subtle ingravings on the fin...For rugby guys, it will be written "underwater rugby"

What you think of my logo?

They look to be shining, but it goes away the first time its used. Its because of demoulding agent.

Legends are practicaly handmade fins. Low repetition production allows for less expencive toolings (4 figure number in euro, instead of 5) and handwork is possible. Thats why there's a chance to use four materials in one fin. The production cycle for one tool - fin is just under two hours, 6 hours more in the oven, and final 20 minutes to open up and cut-offs. Legends will never be mass produced, as the processes used dont allow it. Pre-production fins have over 50 hours in heavy usage behind them, and show no signs of tear, production defects or change in performances.
