| Sven, I'll put up the pics and I have my cables back, but i'm in a rush, as we need to go to CZ in like 30 minutes. I will also draw the schematics of the whole sistem, and advise on how to make your own units. And that I'll do no matter if refferee's on the tournament likes my sistem or not. I belive its a good sistem, I need only to work on the fine details. Like how to make it lighter and easyer to use. Sven, I'm not sure what you mean with SOS wizzle, I take it you mean the whistle that divers are carrying on the BC's. No, thats not it. Its special divers buzzer, that you mount between BC inflator hose, and the BC inflator (BC=Buoyancy compensator = Life jacket). Buzzer works on the "low preassure compressed air" in the inflator hose. Thats what drives the buzzer. But yeah Sven, I work all the time with compressed air. I fill like 3000 tanks per year in my diving center. |

| So there it was. This year's European Club championship is over. Great games, crappy system as we are now outranked by teams we didn't even play against, but so be it. Rudi's system worked really well. Of course there are still quit some adjustments to make, but hey. He only had 4 days or so to build it. Reaction time by the referees was great. Immediately after the fault was committed the game was stopped by the water ref so no disputes by the players about having the game go on for too long, Of course a lot of disputes on the refs decision, but that is something completely different. Most refs playing with the 1 liter bottle didn't have trouble swimming with it. The hose needs to be a bit longer and some neoprene will be put around the bottle for protection of the players. Talked to Tony and the system will most likely be introduced/used at the competition in Istanbul. Thanks for the great work Rudi and looking forward to seeing the improved version! |

| Well done on the system from Slovenia . Most of the players I have spoken to were happy with the sound as were most of the referees that used it as it was immediate and no delay in players hearing it. With a few adjustment I am hoping to have the system in use in Istanbul.and then to seel it as a CMAS approved system at a price thta most federations can afford . Antoine |

| Looks good. I missed the scamatic drawings. but i can see much on the photos. Interesting of this system will be allowed by the CMAS. to use. And what the positive and negative points will be they will tell by there desision.

The refferee unit for EU championship must be perfect and flawless in all respects, or I'm not giving it away for anyone to use. The new unit will look anything but what you see on these pics. It will be tottaly different unit, but it will work on the same principles. Ergonomics, safty, lightness and all arround user-friendly unit, are my goals. Anyway, I have all of the solutions in my head already, but these adaptations are not easy to make and the unit must be unexpencive to become popular. There are many many more demands about this unit, that just to make it buzz. But I'm confident to solve them with help of my, and my friends, friends... . I'll even go as far as to make a video manual on how to use the unit propperly, and upload that on youtube. In end of February, there is an International tournament "memorial Bostjana Mesareca" in Kranj, Slovenija. Thats my deadline for end-product. Any deficiencies will come up on the tournament, and there will be plenty time to polish them before the EU champ. But yes, I too was surprised to have such good position on this from CMAS, but its Tony's foult. In my experiance, he's the first such person in CMAS's history that embraces new things, progress and such ! Usually, CMAS was-is filled with incompetent people... maybe there's still hope . But that's another debate, witch I dont want to participate in.@Tony - Thats cool... hope to see you on Kranj tournament. Rudi |

| hi, can you bear in mind that when making 2 or more differentiating signal noises, the main confusion for players in a game is tempo of the signal. its fine to sit on the side and listen to 2 different electronic bells, but when you get in the water players are thinking "are we short or long". possibly low or high, but sounds like short and long is more suitable for this system. so... make sure one signal is just a long, perhaps continuous sound, and the opposing signal broken into sharp short bursts.... easiest way to tell the difference quickly. my thoughts only. ![]()
