| i found iroko/kambala to be the best for me. it's a lighter/softer wood, very moisture resistand, but wears out in a season or two.

| I have just switched from wood to these NZ bats! No painting, no chipping, no sharp edges! The bats for me are fantastic! Dorsal Underwater hockey - Home of the Dorsal underwater hockey stick

| the NZ bats are nice but i recon they don't give you a lot of feel for the puck i'm pretty sure my bats are pine; it's been so long since i've had new ones i've forgotten |

| belle I have nz bats , but there´s a big difference between right handers and left handers , the left handers are made of " old " right handers so they dont come out so good . thanks todd. and did you make it or ask some place to do it for you ? |

| I belive that Mahagonny works best. It tends to peel of nicely, as you play with it and its not too heavy. Its very compact, so it lasts long enough. Teak is also good, but expancive and hard to shape. |
