| On the World level 2M is a zoo, or at least a shark feeding frenzy as most news reports would describe. The 3M was still a good game, but probably 2.5M to 2.7M would give the best of both depths. You would still get speed but could also open up the game a bit.

| I agree with Ed's remarks about sheffield good for the main 2 courts - awful if you are on the non-slip bottom at 2m in pool 3 though! - the 2 pools we play on at ipswich are both quite shallow( ave1.75m ish!) this just seems to lead to bait-ball style play with everyone treading on each other. 2 to 2.5m seems to be the best (enough room to move without people getting vertigo! |

| I havent played 2.5 or anything similar. 3m I think is just a bit too deep, yes it opens up the game but it slows it down a bit and its that step too far so you have to get used to it. I personally think the pool i play at which is 2.25m is the best depth. As southernpuck said, fins are out of the way, speed and space are good. |

| 2 meter is ok. Some deeper is also good. like 2,5meter. Less deeper is bad. we have trained on a pool that was 2 meter to 60cm. And its not nice to play when its 60cm deep. 2 meter is very nice to play on.
