hey people, i know this thread is dead but i need help, i've just jumped on the leader fins band wagon, got a pair of extra hard ones but they hurt too much, played in them twice and i can only last about 15 minutes with them then i swap back to my old fins. the pain's mainly in the end of my big toe as it's been squashed, feels like a i have a G clamp on each one, my toes aren't been skinned too much it's just the clamping. any ideas how to las a bit longer on them.........besides growing a pair of testacles and stop complaining!!

Also on leaderfins

Does anyone know if the carbon fiber leaderfins are legal for hockey?

You could try it the hard way:
Get a pair of 2mm neoprene half booties (finswimming ones)
Cut the big toe of each out

That should share the G-clamp luvvin' around the rest of the foot. I'm not kidding, if you're wondering.

On a different note, the Breiers with Beauchat footpockets are fast and comfortable. My current favourites, though I'm not a fan of the cost

yeah i had a look at breiers but as you say the price is even more crippling!!
will give the neoprene socks a try, i trained tonight but spoke to benson before hand and he suggested sillicone spray to make sure i get my foot into the pockest as far as possible, i did that and lasted a bit longer but that's possibly because the fins have started to give a little or i have killed off some feeling in my toes
