I'm using a random phrase generator off the net.

So this is how it is honkys...

1. Britbats are crap

2. Thumb notches are bad for your thumb (check out my dad's thumb for evidence of this). My sticks have a fat enough handle to take impact on the pad at the base of the thumb.

3. index finger notches are a bad idea. Even the bat holding (ie non-extended) index finger is great for swerves

4. String is GOLD, only when attached on either side of the hand (not hanging off the wrist). I once broke a lanyard in a game and quickly realised that I don't actually hold onto my stick when i play.

5. Short sticks rule.

6. For some reason, possibly purely a psychological reason, I need a bit of stick sticking out the back of my hand. I've made the exact same sticks without it and they just felt pissweak.

I dont now? i never had the experiance to play with a brithbat. I think i must believe in you for this.

i dont agree. i almost did break my thump playing with a stick without o notches for the thump.
On this time i can only play without hurting myself, and without to much flicking with a stick with a thump notches like my own models stick sometimes have. maybe because the handle is also made for holding and gripp. And the bump for the thump protect my thump against puck and sticks

I hate ropes for holding the stick attached to my hand. it is personly how you play.

5. Short sticks rule.

I agree.

...thumb notches limit thumb movement, basically you're locking your hand and stick into one holding position.

it is for stink.

string is also a must for big games, or some form of stick keeper like finger bands etc... no argument or preferences, any coach will shoot you for losing a stick at an important time and stuffing up the whole team by being forced to sub out to get a new one.

Hey Scott, you should try a nice short stick. They are great for little buggers like us, since there is less leverage on the end of the stick and moving the puck about is much easier. They are maybe a little harder to flick with but all the other advantages more than compensate for that.

Are photos made from different sides. (in front. Above, below, different angle.) also good. Then you can make your own 3d draw.
