more or less it's the pressure of your hand on bottom of the pool that prevents good movement.

Um, no...
Just, no.
No no no no no.

Good movement is affected by:
Stick size, stick material, glove, handle design, technique, relaxation, training, puck, bottom composition, pressure, oxygenation and I'm sure I could think of some more if I bothered...

Indeed. But because its a topic about glove i keep my argumented on the glove part.
I can tell you also even more influences.
But the mean reason/agument was that a glove does effect good movements.

Well it might be of some hand if you managed to write more about those things you mentioned. I'm just trying to concentrate on the glove part, what could be wrong when handling the puck with it - strict orders from admin, the theme must not be in any way perverted - am I a good boy now?
problem with a thick paddings can be solved by a stick made in lower position of the playing area, like dorsal stick, but mainly as I put it before, not rubbing with it too much on the bottom surface of the pool. At the end it's better if you don't have so much padding on the glove and it is flexible enough - and Benny Boy you forgot something really important STRENGHT - that you cannot have with fitness like trainings, I prefer hard labor at least 8 hours a day, construction work, and afterwards some basketball for explosivness.

atapene will become famous soon enough
...yeah? you prefer hard labour and b-ball rather than the specific explosive strength and power training i know benson does? (combined with the game specific stuff he practices that is most likely in all i've seen by far the most comprehensive anyone could possibly attempt?)

well ok, you're the sports scientist i guess...? ...you bang that hammer buddy.

undercutting the handle is fine BUT doing the dorsal thing and lifting the handle is TERRIBLE. it causes problems as soon as you invert your stick and use it upside down, increases the size of the gate above your thumb that the puck can slip through and reduces effectiveness of a pass with the inverted stick.

having your glove protrude further under the stick won't affect speed, it'll just decrease your general contact with the puck a tiny bit and possibly change the angle you have to hold the bevel at to flick in order to still pick the puck onto the bevel properly.

friction is a factor, for example silicone gloves are a tad faster than latex gloves, enough to require adjustment for flicking etc... but the difference is very slight, and when you're trying to execute something, a dummy for instance, FAST, it's probably more important to put some pressure against the bottom to hold the stick on the tiles in the proper position to control the puck than to try to limit downwards pressure thinking it will make the movement faster.

having said that, i try to put silicone on the fingers of my gloves for a bit of extra speed, so i should say i guess i think the difference is enough to acknowledge.
