| Bats hi ya, I always have used a huge bat with a big handel (fellow players call it the Club) at worlds tried to change to a true blue slick flicker, a much much smaller bat. My wrist and hand began to hurt and feel alot of strain. I think the handel size can impact your wrist. I have gone back to my beloved club, but would consider a custom made slick flicker with my usual handel put onto it. I will give you a go with my bat when we play next! Cheers

| I had to play left handed some time ago and I used a slick flicker as I seemed to have good control of the puck with it. However, I had the same problem with a sore hand and wrist. I overcame this by padding teh handle out with some neoprene and trusty electrical tape. The pain dissappeared almost straight away. This same problem is experienced in other sports too, such as squash and tennis. Often a change in grip size will overcome or create a problem. |

After a blessure to me hand and fingers/thump, I had especially at home a rubber band on me fingers, and then the finger tops against each other and afterwards from each other to moved. This it had been meant train the muscles in the hand and fingers. Maybe it is also a good way to warm-up your hand before the game. A bat with an adjusted hand-grip? more differcult for wooden sticks  My own stick are already made at my own inside off my hand.
