I am having internal issues myself and I also couldn't see the page. I tried several things including mix n match with the old link and the new one in several forms but didn't get anywhere.

If it's the same as the Ref Beep Test then you swim Half Over Half Under (HOHU) for 25M in groups of three on descending intervals.

3 @ :36
3 @ :34
3 @ :32

# @ :18 until you fail.

Referees Beep Test
The test includes multiple lengths of a swimming pool. Each length has 2 components, ½ on the surface and ½ underwater with the start time between the lengths reducing as the levels increase.

Set up
25m pool, divided by a rope across the pool at the ½ way mark.

The swimmers line up at one end of the pool and on the go command swim on the surface using over-arm stroke to the dividing rope. When they reach the rope the dive under the surface and continue underwater until they touch the end wall. It is important they don’t surface until they touch the end wall.
They then wait until the next go command is given and repeat the surface and underwater swim.

These lengths continue until the swimmer(s) are unable to start the next length or they are unable to fully complete the underwater swim.
At the last length they fully complete is the beep Test fitness Level.

nope, that's not it
that looks a lot like the OLD beep test we did before 2001. but it just took too damn long and guys were swimming well over a kilometre.

see me a PM with your email address and i'll send whoever wants it the excel file [and some hints/instructions]

unless Carl knows some way for me to post the beep test directly to the forum in a downloadable manner?

Tumblies

Im doing club swim training for UWH. Tumble turns makes your training session better because it reduces the amount of rest and oxygen you take in at the end of each length.

The speed of your sets etc will also improve.....important for some.

Technique:

YouTube - Freestyle Flip Turn Technique

Happy training.
