| Protein Hey Belle, You should try the Aussie Bodies range of protein drinks. I find they taste heaps better than the Musashi stuff. They come in a powder form especially for women, or you can try their protein shakes in 300ml cartons. Their chocolate flavour is particularly yum-yums, which they also have in a low-carb option. Other foods that I find are easy to eat and provide a nice boost in protein - yogurt is great, I have that on my breaky cereal (rice bubbles) in the morning. During the day, whether it is between games or as an afternoon snack, the little tins of tuna have heaps of protein and they've got lots of different varieties. They're great on crispbreads and really fill you up. Hrmmm.... now I'm hungry ![]() |

| Skim milk powder is a good cheap alternative to the Aussie Bodies/Musahsi powders. I've used it in the past sprinkled on cereal, in smoothies, rice puddings, etc. Pretty much just add it to anything that you think it will go with!

| Not carbs but try 'lepin squeezies'. They give you extremely high levels of energy as they are filled with electrolights. Take half an hour before training/playing games. Pretty expensive if you go throught hem as fast as I do but deffinately worth it. Also with these you never get cramp! |

| Personally I go for steak with a side of chicken (chicken is, officially, a salad). Plenty of protein and apparently the salad bit is good for you too. Made me the man I am today. Okay, maybe the several men I am today... ugh
