Unfortunately Greg still does play with 2 hands and still thiks it's the way to go and can't understand why everyone else isn't doing it. He swears by it. You definitely don't want to use his stick as a template though, it looks like a T-bone steak. If you cut it down the centre you could probably get 2 reasonable sticks out of it!

I think when he's beaten rep players it's when they are laughing at him too much

I think now the rules state that you can wear 2 gloves but only one hand can be on the stick at any time.

These gloves that he uses haven't got any webbing on them but they are bit enough and bulky enough to act as paddles!

yea i tried playing two handed once. we made a a double ended stick like liams one I've seen that he made out of wood except we made it out of pvc. Tim alexander reackons its the way of the future for uwh but its hard to tell at this stage. I agree with liam. Knowone has the time to practise with their other hand so they can play the same with both hands. Why not just get awesome with your preferred hand??? Thats what i'd rather anyway. But I suppose something to experiment with when you're older and you don't need to improve that much with your normal hand. Unless you could train up each hand equally then it seems pointless. Plus the second that it takes to twist the stick and put it in the other hand... something to work on i guess..

Duck is an unknown quantity at this point
The main benefit I see is not while in the middle of play but while the setup for an advantage puck is happening. If you get put on the 5 & 2 and it would benefit you to set up for a toss lefty instead of righty you make the switch then.

LEfty righty

Being a lefty I understand why people would want to use the opposite hand. Even good players get lazy in their habits and when coming from a little different angle or side you can get the puck or at least make them lose control.
As a physical education teacher I have my students throw and other skills with their opposite hand to make them think about the motion or the action. I tell them it is just like teaching anther person, just noe that doesnt listen very well. You may be surprised by how quick it can be picked up if you really concentrate on the movement and the feeling.

As a side note A friend of my brother's was able to pitch in baseball equally with right or left hand and could play quarterback in american football thtrowing equally right and left handed. very impressive.
