Although, that does lead to the question... is having two right hands an advantage over two left hands?
No a player with 2 left or right hands is not a 2 handed player.
Having a trained 2 handed player can be on advantaged. But only iff its a real 2 handed player and did find the way to make it practical in use. We for our self did find that way. also because the sticks we designed for that sort play. But are really many time called nuts that we did play 2 handed.

But what we already did learn is that not every player can learn to play 2 handed.
Most players will be playing only right handed
A smaller group will be playing left handed.
And a even smaller group will play 2 handed.

Quote:
Would that be for people with two right hands? I would think that a two-handed stick would be designed for both right and left, not for one specific hand. Are they designed so that one hand is the primary hand and using it in the other hand is just for rare occassion?
THere we come to the point.
Primary most players will use a single hand. But want the possibility to chance hands when nessesairy. SO we did design some sticks that are very simulair for both hands. THe so called 2handed sticks. By those it really dont matter if in basic you play left or right handed. And iff trained well it dont matter anymore iff you have the stick left or right handed. The real 2 handed player. (like myself) And i see that i do use it more each time automaticly. Like most players can do a dummy without even thinking how to do it.

the 2 handed right stick is another sort design.
Its a stick for right handed players that maybe one time i a compleet game want to chance the stick from the hand off playing.(rare acassion) So not be real 2 handed player but a step in between the single hand players and the 2 hand players.

the 2 handed sticks are not big here in SA... or i haven't seen sum1 yet with a pair..

laterz
Bennie did take some south african design with him and we made them in Polyurethane.
(Britbaths and dorsals are made from another sort plastick. and are made in big numbers). where we made sticks by the pair or a single replaysment stick. SO its easy to make/have many sorts design and models. The models Bennie did take with him were the so called "south african" models and the model "bennie"

The 2 handed are not send already to south africa. SO you can not have seen our design 2 handed sticks/pushers there already. Maybe some other models. But indeed there are not many players yet playing 2 handed. (already)

Hahah you do not play with 2 hands on the stick. The only time you have 2 hands on the stick is when you take over to the other hand. And that is legal when you have no contact with the puck. When making contact you can have/are allowed to only have one hand on the stick.

So the playing will not be more brutal. only more differcult for the opponent.
Beside playing single handed like all players you have when playing 2 handed more things you can do. The only thing is how fast can you take over. And that is with a good 2 handed stick very fast.

sven,
2 of our lads here in barcelona have your sticks and 3 of those sticks broke, also a coupe of the nz dorsal broke also.
maybe you made a bad batch or maybe you need to reinforce where the handle meets the shaft(where the 3 of our sticks broke).
they are happy with them but the sticks are breaking.

Yes it was a bad batch.
And then you now that one off them recieved before the games last weekend the replacements (for free)
Were he scored the 2 first gools with (he told me)in the final.

And like i told yesterday
Quote:
those were made from the old compound. the new compound is even stronger but also a little bit softer
But i never said that they never break. All sticks can break.(plastic and wood)
Like i told in the artikel
But the broken sticks were the old compound.

I see clearly now, you have developed a reversable stick for ambidextrous players. When I injured my left hand, I played right haned for a while. It is a challenge.

Something like that.

BELOW a MOVIE WHERE THE STICK IS TAKEN IN THE OTHER HAND.
Done slowly and the movie is a little bit slower then in real.

I'm with ya here. It takes a while to get your body into the right position. Simple things like dropping from the surface take thought and focus to do it right. I have been playing leftie for a couple of months now, to rest an elbow, and I find that just the slightest drop in my right shoulder throws off my timing completely and makes the drop awkward. Then there's the reacting to a pass and reaching to block it with your freehand instead of your stick hand, which under normal circumstances would have been reversed. Or just turning... Everything is a bit off. It's good for anyone teaching to play opposite handed for a few months so that you can re-learn what it's like to be a beginner in the skills department.

But unlike what Sven says, anyone can learn it. They just have to put in the time.

YOu put the finger on the right spot YOu just have to put time in it.
But i hope you agree that some players are better in it then others.

But the time i a real point. We are now very bussy with it for a year. But some other players from other clubs tryed it and after 1 minut they already say its nothing.
Thats what is the biggest problem...but also normal. We will see when we use it with succes in the competition.
