Hi to all you out in Underwater Hockey world!!

A few of us have just started playing in The Richmond pool on Monday nights, This pool is 1.8m deep with fast tiles. Normally we will be playing with 4 lanes but if we have extra people and if the pool allows we will play with 5 lanes. We played there last night with 21 people in a three team rotation and it worked really really well!!!
Our aim for this pool is to try and get some new blood into the sport, the pool is big enough (50m) that we can have beginners being taught at the shallow end while the more experienced players could play a fast pace game in the deep water.
If you have been swimming in this pool in the last 3 years you will remember the huge filter things that stood about 10cm proud of the tiles, these have all been removed and replaced with pieces of glass that are more slippery then the tiles!!
We have negotiated a very reasonable price ($7 per person) with the pool and they are willing to work with us to help get Underwater Hockey going well again in Richmond (and hopefully Victoria!!)


The pool is called The Richmond Recreation Centre and is in Gleadell St in Richmond, be at the pool at 7 so we can pick teams and be in the pool at 7:30
Super easy to get to via public transport heaps of parking for those of you with cars and a very high quality venue to play in.

So come along, bring your friends, your family and your neighbours down for a quality game of hockey at a reasonable price!
