Wollongong Pot-Luck 4's Comp

The 16th annual Wollongong 4's comp is booked:

Date: 29th March
Time: 12-5pm
Location: University of Wollongong pool (~1hr south of Sydney)

Comp Format: Registered names are entered into a hat and teams of 4 (with one sub maybe) are drawn on the day. 2 x 5min halves.

Court: 17mx15m court and 2.4m deep. OXYGEN IS OVER-RATED

After: BBQ and pool party for those who didn't get wet enough during comp. Lots of raffle prizes to be drawn (we had 80 prizes last year). You can test your LUCKY charms through the night...

BTW the reason I thought I would post this is I saw the time you posted... did a little guestimating math... hmmmm.... 1:00 am feeding? Might as well use the time to check in on the forum... I did a lot of that with our first child.

An aquifer is a water bearing layer of rock or soil. Aquifers are separated by impermeable layers of rock or clay called an aquitard. Aquitard, however may sound a bit offensive to some, and therefore we will be changing the name to Aquachallenge.

Thanks to all players who made the effort to come to Wollongong and play. It was a beautiful day and lots of fun.

The teams were drawn 30min prior to start and we ended up with a good mix of standards; there was a battle for the top teams, the bottom teams and for those in the middle.

Some 50 odd raffle prizes were given out, ranging from True Blue gift vouchers to wine and nice homewares. The party was enhanced by the special 4's brew free beer provided by our sponsors.

As per tradition, the team that comes last receives the same prize (shots) as the winning team - it's all based on luck anyway.

My comiserations to the team that didn't even win 'coming last'! Better Luck next time...

They were dudes.

They weren't all dudes but the ratio's were certainly pionting in the wrong direction, perhap next time we don't let kev loose naked in the spa alone haha

oh well, maybe next year we can smash that record as well haha
