Brisbane invitational 2007

for all those that may be interested the Brisbane Invitational is comming up

When: proposed dates are the weekend of the 14th-15th of July

Where: at either the Sleeman Sports Centre (Chandler) or The Valley Pool. We wont know which one until we determine how many teams will be competing and whether or not we will need 2 days or just the 1. So let us no ASAP

An email has been sent around to each states rep with the intial info on it so make sure they send it around, if you cant get your hands on it or have any other queries just ask us at brisbaneunderwater@hotmail.com

We have booked the Valley pool for the 14th of July. Very central location with plenty of accomodation options close by. would love it if you could let us know if you are sending a team ASAP so we can get organising, for those who want to compete but cant field a team just send us name, position and skill level and a scratch team can be arranged. any questions, quams or concerns email us at brisbaneunderwater@hotmail.com.

yes unfortunately the valley pool was not available on the sunday. however we do realise that for traveling teams it may be more convenient to have it on the sunday so we are looking into the posibility of having it at the sleeman sports centre (chandler). the main reason we chose the valley is because of its central location, but if the general consensus is that we move it to the sunday then nothing is set in stone and moving locations is definitely an option. however we do require some feedback from clubs and so far we are doing this thing blindly, so if everyone could get back to us we would really appreciate it.

Theres a rumour going around that there might be a team coming from Vic under the name of Wizards 8) It is only a rumor at this stage :P
