| so much negativity . BOD will need to approve it for procedural purposes.People can start preparing themselves as airlines tickets cannot be booked a year in adavnce anyhow. and before I am asked anymore questions about who can attend here are the answers I am looking at having 16 men and 16 women elite Teams/ countries. any Association/federation associated with CMAS for UWH can take part. CMAS UWH commission will not ban any players that is presented by their association to take part in the World Games. |

| Torto the plan will be to have 8 countries from Europe ( priority to conutries/teams that attended the Europeean in istanbul ), 4 from the Americas and 4 from Asia . then depending on that we can alternate the number of countries meaning if we have only 2 from Asia willing to come then we can give more places to other countries from other continents ,etc.. | Duck, I think the banning issue was already solved quit a while ago. There was the official letter from CMAS. No need to keep going on about it. CMAS is not banning players that went to Durban, although their national federations still have the right to do so. For example, the French can send the team that went to Istanbul to the games and ban all players that were in Durban to be member of the national team. Tony, Wasn't SA initially considered to be among the European countries for the selection of the games? So when talking about 8 European countries, would that mean SA and the first seven countries from the Istanbul ranking? Regarding your comment on plane tickets. You're right that they can't be purchased more a year in advance, but for planning the training it would be best to eliminate the surprise of suddenly having the date of the competition moved earlier in the year. |
