| Aussie Women's Team Update Don't worry there will be lots of photos!! Having a great time playing with a great bunch of girls - very entertaining. Currently there is a bet between Hannah and Nina... they have created head wreaths out of weeping willow and they both have to outlast each other in wearing them - the first to take theirs off will have the "pleasure" of "seducing" an Australian Coach, who will remain nameless. The battle is still on, the two both slept in them last night however a postponement of the contest was made whilst we had the in water sessions today. Really good games again today as we slowly improve our cohesion as a team. This arvo's game against the colts we won 2-0. Some of the players are off to the Rugby tonight as others head off to the shopping centre to organise our fascinators for Preso Night (word is its at a racecourse, so we thought we'd dress appropriately). Of course we are looking forward to the final tomorrow against the Kiwi ladies. We are all pretty amped after the "goose-pimple" speech fro Lena on the bus to the pool this morning. Plus, if we maximise our time in the "happy spot" we should definitely have a more positive result! Its a pity we don't have Chooky here to do some recon-work for the menu as it seems there's quite a delectible selection before us... however I'm sure we'll survive. It has been revealed that Lena is in love with Liam.... actually I think the entire team is :-) pity he can't be our mascot as it would be a conflict of interest for him.... maybe Phil will do... or even the hedgehog that found its way into Lena's room the other night - what a prick! Anyway, missing you heaps Belle, Tan, Amy, Edi, and Chooky!!!

| The wreaths are still on!!! Although drying out and falling to pieces. Its a real test of determination and will power. Just about to go into a meeting before the final. We are quietly confident that we'll be able to give it a rumble, although a few girls are sick with a cold that has been going around the camp. I'll keep you posted on the results and the shenanigans that are no doubt to follow!

| hi all, yeah scores for day three in the mens grade were... nz men beat aussie men 7-2 (or 6-2?) nz colts drew against nz men 3-3 (....yep) aussie men beat nz colts 7-1 (or thereabouts?) then on the final day, nz men beat aussie men in the final 9-1, after the extra time game for the womens final, which was a great game, with the score see-sawing all over the place right to the end, kiwi women equalising 30 seconds before the end of normal time to force it into overtime. in the end the kiwi women won the trans tasman champs for their wins in the round robin, and the aussie women won the shc trophy for the final, with the kiwi men winning both. aussie masters men won the masters final but the scoreline was closer than the round robin games... i saw it at 3-1 at one stage but sorry didnt catch the final score. kiwi junior men beat the aussie juniors in their final i think it was 6-0, again sorry thats from memory. the function was great, i thought... almost all the kiwi teams went in costume this year, it was pretty funny. photos coming soon from many different sources i'm sure. geez i'm glad none of the guys checked this forum before our final court session alex. you're killing me. sorry about the fact that the scores weren't live on the website... getting a better website up and running is one of the projects we are trying to push through right now in nz. liam |

| Awesome work girls. Looks like the Aussie Chicks are developing quite a knack with the overtime final. Hope you all had fun and that the sore heads are slowly recovering from Preso night. Congrats Meg |
