 2008 CMAS European Championships I've heard on the grapevine that the 2008 European Championships will co-incide with the Durban "World Cup" Does anyone have any further details for the tournament?

| I'd bet those grapes are good. It makes sense from CMAS viewpoint. Why would they want to set up the WAA to succeed? It is in their best interests to make the WAA leaders look bad the same way it is in the WAA leadership's interest to make CMAS look bad. I think you could hear the same accusations coming from both sides.... "By their actions they are making this sport smaller and not letting people play." Anyone care to make a good w(h)ine from these grapes?

| i think we can pretty much confirm that rumour, yes. from people ive spoken to who look like they will be involved with it... in fact i was under the impression the date had already been fixed to clash.

| what are you worried about? the brits are going to SA arent they? the boa flatout boycotted bari and said they were supporting durban... why wouldnt they send you guys now? are there internal probs in gb that might stuff things up or what?

| The last i heard BOA did not actually vito Bari but left it to players choice, but no team was organised in time. I think it is pretty safe to say that the GB teams will be in SA. |

| yeah but the boa DID put out a statement says cmas is crap we hate cmas, or something to that effect, and we dont support this tournament, meaning bari. it'll be on the boa site still, sorry i cant be bothered looking it up.
