That is good to hear. How many countries are looking at bringing masters?

I've thought about this too, and came to the conclusion that the comp is already short enough. Its a lot of $$$ to go to worlds to play 10 games (not including cross overs).

Pre Worlds Camp

Hi people,
I am Sebastián, from Argentina. We are training for Durban tournament, hopefully we'll see you there.
Now, we are talking with players from Colombia, that are also training, and they found that they get a cheaper air fare to Durban via Buenos Aires. Very strange, because there isn't a direct flight from Argentina to South Africa, but seems to be true...
So, we are planning to setup a small stop for them here, before Durban, as a "pre worlds training camp". It'll be great if people from other countries can check if they are in a similar situation, maybe we can all take advantage of the crazy air fare price algorithm.
Greetings,
Sebastián Viviani

PS: I realize this will require extra days, and maybe extra $$$, but I think asking is for free, and it may be worth to try....

Costs

Regarding costs, does anybody know if the new licence agreement with the mouth-guard supplier has resulted in any financial contribution to the sport? I thought the whole idea of the licencing deal was to reduce costs for worlds.

I'm not able to speak for our entire team... or any one but myself really, but I love the idea... only problem is from what I can tell by a quick internet search for flights this would more than double the transportation cost from the US. Too bad. If somebody else up here is able to figure out how to make it cheaper we'll let you know.
