sorry i better qualify that, considering how badly it sounded...

while i like the junior grade, i'm kinda against people spending a lot of money on it before there are enoughs teams to make it really competitive... and the southern hemisphere teams seem to have had a big advantage in the junior grades since forever.

What do you mean by 'the southern hemisphere teams seem to have had a big advantage in the junior grades since forever' ?

If you look at http://cmasuwhc.org.au/CMAS%20WTD2/HTML/Results2.htm the results for the juniors don't really suggest what your saying. Looks pretty evenly matched to me

I totally agree that the quality of the championships the juniors have doesn't seem satisfactory with the large amounts of money they have to spend to attend but surely we should be wanting to increase the number of countries entering junior team to the world championships rather than watching those teams that do already enter pull out.

...its hard enough for people to save the cash once they're adults. i just reckon, save the cash for later.

i didn't realise the northern hemisphere teams like gb, canada and france had regularly (or ever) beaten the southern hemisphere ones... but to be honest i didnt check first, sorry.

Question Countries representing

Just curious (again!), do people know which teams their country will be sending to the upcoming South African worlds yet?

It looks at the moment that Australia will be sending Mens & Womens elite, juniors, and mens masters (not sure about womens, although it may be possible).

As far as i know GB will be sending both open and womens teams for the elite and masters.

Its looking unlikely we will be sending any junior teams.

From what i've heard Scotland will not be entering separate teams (correct me if i'm wrong).

I'm getting a creeping feeling that this Forum is not in favour with 'those that know' atm.
Prove me wrong someone and jump in and tell these athletes what they're training for? Perhaps Aquachallenge doesn't need players?

Canada will be sending a women's elite team to Durban, but no women's masters team. I don't have information about the other Canadian teams.
