Site hijacking?

It happened to me this morning around 10 am (same site as I posted above), however we have been having internet problems so that could have just been a 'cached page',

Interesting. It seems to be random.
This morning i did have no problems with this site.

Last friday i had for a few minuts that again but after that not anymore.
But i was in this weekend almost not on the net.
I will look sometime to see if i have any problems again.

No issues since the last report I sent. Did the provider have any interesting insights?

How much low-level monitoring can you get with your provider? Packet inspection might help see if somebody has actually broken in, but its bloody time consuming and potentially not very productive.

The provider did a little looking around.
They thought the attack was probably software side. Vbulletin is pretty sound (if any one remembers the free phpbb board that we started with will attest to).

I'll apply the latest software patch when time permits - unless of course the baddies return sooner

Heh, if you were running PHPBB, my help messages would have been shorter . As you say though, vBulletin is one of the better ones. Are you running any other PHP apps on the server, CMSes in particular?

THe PHPBB was also a good forum. But some what easyer to shut down by hackers. O good or bad forum is made by the people on it.

Only this one has more options and a nice lay-out.
