| This site's first birthday - Oct 2 We're turning one year old on October 2nd. I'd like to throw some sort of celebration - but what? Maybe a competition or podcast round table? Any ideas folks?

| Not just a poetry comp, one that is based on 'Twas the Night Before Christmas. With all the action on this site in the last year there could be some good combos.

| I am with Remy. How cool would it be to have a worldwide party for uwh. Could give some extra attention to the site. Of course, October 2nd is a bit too short notice. But imagine 24h of party for celebrating UWHWorld. Members living in the same area organize a party. Everybody in the world does so on the same day and with the time changing, the uwh-players keep partying all over the world in different timezones. Each party would have a big screen, on which we project how people are partying in the other places. Meanwhile, there is a seperate room with a few computers where hockey players all over the world can leave messages for each other on the forum. Now that would be a great promotion for the site. Of course, we can also host a small tournament before the party, uniting all players from one area. Who's up for it? |
