while we are on the subject of web page hits.

we can make this site work ten times as much.

here's what we can do..
type out in a word document,the web page of the site and sentence like.

come speak with a worldwide hockey forum,or something like that.
photo copy them and cut them into tiny leaflets and just leave them on a table at every tourment you go to or even beter take 10 mins in that tournament and hand them out..

would only cost a few dollars or euros to do..

thats another of my new years resolution.

And you care that he gets to 1000 first or if not him whomever does? Wow. I'd rather care about having good content than having one individual get to 1000. Especially with posts like "Oh, here's an update on how many I have". I would think that having quality discussions that result in changes for the better would be what you care about. Or just having a place where people in this sport can go to ask questions, find answers, share experiences, etc. Unless you are looking to the advertising dollar down the line and need the numbers. But if the race to 1000 is what makes this good for you, okay.

better a post with low info content but in a happy and positive vein than one lacking just as much content but made in a negative manner, for the sole purpose of shooting people down.
