| Goodbye Australia - from Sophia Alex interviews Sophia Tapper (UK Ladies Captain 2006) as she prepares to leave Australia. Sophia reflects on her extended playing/study tour 'down under', vows to win Gold for the UK one day (yes the UK, she's British just in case anyone missed that?) And generally tells us that she had a great time (besides the cold beer that is) Nice job Alex and Sophia :-) check it out on www.underwaterhockeyworld.com frony page

| oh i thought you meant back to australia, i am in the uk now Newcastle? I live in Devon! I heard about the tourni in orkney, but your team is full ![]() Will be going to the breda tourni in holland though. ![]() What is the pool/game like in Newcastle? Soph |

| Ha haa. Um, where's Devon? Anyway, who cares how far it is, it's not like you've got a job to go to or anything... Come to Orkney anyway, there's always a team that needs another player. Newcastle... hmmm... The pool is really, um, 'typically english'. The play isn't too bad though, the confined space is a great equaliser.

Hi Stapper The pool we play in is in Castletown Sunderland. (just outside of Newcastle), it's a nice pool but on the small side (the shallow end can especially get a bit interesting) and I like to think we play a nice, fun but competetive game (which, thanks to benson, is getting more and more hectic and direct with each week) your more than welcome to come and play if you are ever passing through. ![]() |
