| Here comes the Canadians :-) And the South Africans :-) Gee, we're really getting around the world now. Mel has agreed to a Podcast interview to give us yet another international captain. Leigh, since she'll be at your place anyway, how about we interview you at the same time? You have a unique playing background.

| Hey Steven, The fiber fins are pretty good, although they slide a bit to the side for the moment. I played with them in Bari and was really glad to have them. They are shorter than my quatros, and deliver the same speed. They doen't wear out my leggs so it feels like I can play for ages. Will you be in Breda? BCN isn't coming but I thought you might play with the lads from Dublin. When is that tournament in the Czech republic? Any room in a team? |

| Hi everyone, I'm Dolan. I've been playing for a while now, about 18 years. I've played for a few NZ teams and done some coaching. I use to live in Wellinton, New Zealand, I now live and play in a semi retired state in London. You'll probably see me on the surface somewhere, almost as much as BenfFishBoy. Dolan |

| Hello, I'm Edwin, started in Dunedin (NZ), moved to Christchurch (NZ), but escaped assisting with the 2004 worlds by moving to London, where I live in the east and play in the west. I play, coach and referee to varying degrees. I am disappointed that I could not go to the Orkney tournament that was on a few weeks ago. Good to see the southern hemisphere was represented. |

| Hello there all, I am a Kiwi who, after worlds in '98 went to Europe for 2-3 years, and is still here. In order to keep me I believe the dutch paid one of their women to befriend me. Played for NZ a few times before I left, and as a youngster was in the (possibly world?) first international junior comp: U18's NZ vs AUS in '91. Since moving to the Netherlands, I turned coat and have been showing my wares for the Dutch team since '99, courtesy of my dual passport situation (NZ and NL). I am also very proud to be one of the few to be able to say I played with the Barbarians... the best hockey I have ever played was with the baabaas in Durban in 2005 - fantastic tournament(s) there, and I am sure they will do their best to better it in 2008. Played a lot of tournaments and comps, for a few of the major hockey nations - still like to play Aussie nationals and PCC's before I end up much further over the hill. Now I feel old and broken, since I just realised that I have been playing hockey longer than quite a few members of this site have been alive.
