Introduce yourself

Hey there, or tjena as they say around here,

I'm Fred. I am a Belgian player who just moved to Swedens capital Stockholm.
No hockey here, but if Mohammed doesn't go to the mountain, the mountain has to come to Mohammed. So as of September I'll be starting the first Swedish uwhockey team. Everybody who would like to come over for a game is more than welcome and can stay at my place.
I started playing in Belgium and played in Barcelona while living there.
I played the last Europeans and the worlds in Sheffield, where Belgium finally was back after all those years.
Cool site and an excellent way to stay in touch with this great bunch of hockey aficionados.

My name is Tom Waugh.
I'm a Taswegian. I have been playing for 5 years. Been to 2 nationals (hobart and sydney). I play forward (mostly wing). I am lanky (195cm tall) and have a half decent flick and i'm not the slowest swimmer (nor the fastest haha).

Saw some of the youtube footage posted on the homepage. Crazy stuff, those guys can flick!

Just been filming the AUS vs. NZ u/18 women's series down here in hobart over the weekend (NZ 2 - AUS 1, 1 draw) Last game tonight....come on aussie!

Give this site 3 months or so and with a bit of advertising it will be teeming (1000s i'm thinking) with underwater hockey players from all over the world.

Maybe underwater hockey should have it's own myspace?? (free advertising...)
