| Hey, something official with a signature and everything... It makes sense now that they would consider taking 16 teams and approve a plan to not ban anyone. With the 15% increase in licenses they should be able to make a dent, although small, if they can get that many teams to show up. As far as the English goes -- precarious financial equilibrium, suggesting extreme severity in the 2008 management, closed (2007) in red with € 38.028, there is worry that this situation may become worse for the management. -- all seems to be fairly clear. I think the number you are looking for is "4.3" then below "2 book-keeping control" going to the 4th bullet after "3 It is necessary that CMAS acquires the ability in making profits because..." Does that make it more clear? What kind of system is that? Bullet points on some of it, numbers on others, all aligned with each other. Wonder if this answers the question of who will go to Tunis in 2009? Could be no one if they don't have a working budget. I suppose they could move it earlier in the year so that the financials aren't done before the games happen. Not sure if the GA is always the same time of year but that would put it in or before May. See you all, or at least some of you, in Colombia 2010 Duck

| Looking at the changes in membership I thought for a second that SA bailed completely. But they just restructered. Still they got out of nap, ori, and tir. I know nap, I try to take one everyday. I was surprised to see they got out of ori, although underwater origami isn't a sport anyway. And tir, haven't figured that one out yet but 2 out of 3 ain't bad.

| New CMAS BOD MInutes Attached are the minutes of the last BOD meeting, A couple of interesting points appear. I note that elsewhere on this forum it has been said that there will be changes to the CMAS hockey rules, this may be true but it won’t be until 2010 as the BOD have accepted the 2005 CMAS hockey rules as current until 31-12-2010. Also it looks as though I am off to the CMAS disciplinary commission again; it’s nice to know that I am in their thoughts because to be honest I have not wasted any of my energy thinking about them. Once again they have accused me of something that I have not done; they have said that the WAA has applied to the GAISF for membership. This is not true as all I have done is write to the GAISF and ask them for a copy of their statutes. But as we have seen before an accusation is all you need to have with CMAS, real proof in never needed because if it was it would show that there is no case to answer. Anyway their elections are coming up early next year and we can only hope that the ilk of Dernier and Ferrero will disappear and CMAS will get some sanity back. There such a fun bunch, if you’re interested have a read.

| Firstly, realize the document is the 'decisions taken.' CMAS does not publish BOD 'minutes' until approved at the subsequent meeting but they do publish the 'decisions taken' or motions passed fairly soon after the meeting at hand. BUT.... item 5.0 in total is confusing. From what is written, it would appear the EGA is postponed to be combined with the later scheduled GA in Thailand, but I know for certain the decision was reversed or nullified or whatever as the EGA will occur, as previously scheduled, in early January in Rome - according to Dr Dernier, Sec Genl. I don't know why they would publish a document without a disclaimer regarding the change. The document then goes on to say housing/accommodations are the responsibility of the participants.
