Remains a big question mark... I know someone who had a pair for about 3 months and the blade is now in two pieces. 4 pairs a year is a bit much when they cost around 170 Euro (for the Americans, at the current exchange rate that is about 10,000 USD). Hopefully that was an anomaly.
FYI: he had medium hardness and kicks like a little girl, so you can't really say that he overstressed them. He does play a lot though, so they were used for a few tournaments and maybe 3 times a week for training etc in this period.
