For the benefit of the non-aussies here, for some reason somebody decided to bring in a rule that guys have to wear a light or dark vest when playing at nationals a few years ago, and we are still stuck with them despite everyone hating them (as I'm sure this poll will show). This year at the Perth nationals, they got rid of them and now apparently they're back. Appart from the extra cost involved, they create drag and look silly.
