| not having huge experience at this depth myself I’d say the most important thing is to get on the bottom much earlier than u might in a more shallow pool.
Something which we were told last year after our first time in the 3m pool at Ponds Forge was to try, rather than go to the bottom of the pool, when waiting for the puck, only go half way down, this way you can quickly get to the bottom if the puck comes your way but if it goes the other way its not too far to the surface and you can get back into the game quickly.
Personally I think it’s a really good depth, get a bit of taking use to but overall it better as players on the surface don't get in the way |
