3m at Nautilus

I'm going to Nautilus (the UK national league comp) very soon. It's going to be at Ponds Forge, Sheffield, where the last worlds took place. The playing courts are again going to be 3m deep. This is quite a a lot deeper than the 1.5-2m we do our training in. Me and my team (Newcastle, NEM-OC) have pretty limited experience playing this level of competition and practically none playing at this depth. So I've got two questions......

1.) Any advice on how to play in 3m?

2.) Do you think this is a sensible depth for a national comp?

The prospect of facing the big boys 3m under is pretty scary for me!
