It is such a great news to see UWH growing in Portugal!

Just for info:
2005 Marseille : 10 men (including two absolute beginners), 8 women (4 absolute beginners)
2006 Sheffield : 14 men for the two weeks competition (including two absolute beginners), no women (registration fees were to high)
2007 Bari : 12 men out of a selection of 20 candidates, 10 women (2 beginners)
2008 Istanbul : 42 players attended the first men selection camp. 16 candidates for the woman team.

During the same period we had a proportional increase of the general number of UWH players in Belgium.

I believe Tony could/should help you to convince your federation to join Istanbul.

Tony is currently putting a lot of work in trying to make Istanbul as cheap as possible in order to allow a maximum of European nation to attend.
