| man, how long has it been since benny posted any progress? alex? feelin pretty lonely here...
today, monday, and i'm 81.2kg.
last weekend was wrecked by a training camp, ditto the one just gone, except this time i was tagging along trying to help coach the womens and girls teams. still involving hours of floating and swimming around and days were all broken up foodwise.... plus i have suddenly realised, i can't remember the last time i had a splurge day! this is terrible.
most of my weights are going up steadily still.
at the womens camp i took the opportunity to get the nutritionist to take my measurements again... this is the same nutritionist, she's done this for me 4 times now and each time at about the same time of day on the sat of a training (coaching) camp.
now, i really expected that while trying to put weight on and eating all this bloody food i would put on a bit of fat too. ....well, we can scratch that idea so far. last time she measured me (in 2006) i was at 79kgs and 10.1% bodyfat, on saturday i was 80.8kgs and 7.8% bodyfat.
i am now wondering what the best way to put ON bodyfat is... all bets aside, i'm not keen on sliding by under 10% with my immune system on the crapper and catching every cold that goes past me in the street. any ideas Carl? Anyone? ...i will not accept eating pure lard as a credible answer.
quite apart from that, which is a bit worrying, all feels well, i have an off day now and then but by and large i feel pretty strong... i have certainly levelled off in the last 2-3 weeks but if i look at my diary my weight gain actually goes in wee cycles, gain, level, slight drop, then gain again, so i dont think it's a biggie. having said that, i have got myself some multi-vitamins to help the old immune system along and creatine is in the mail, late, but still no biggie, better late than expired which it could have been if they hadn't checked the label first.
so this weekend i am going to have the king of all splurges and will attempt to scoff my bodyweight in big-macs, and then the following cycle will be on the creatine and i'll see if it'll do the trick.
