Keith has asked the BOA to decide upon whether or not they are leaving CMAS asap as the 19th of January is far too late
so there is no decision yet.

Each playing country is eligible to apply for membership in WAA. I sort of expected the same organizations as now exist, play and participate to apply to be WAA members as in USOA, CUGA, AUF, etc. But what each country does is theirs to decide. And I suppose it depends on what a country sees in the future.

Does the country want to go the the next CMAS Games - assuming the Games are held? and in what sports? Over the next few years, I expect USOA to be removed from the uw hockey commission, but if CMAS follows their current regs, it will take about 3-4 years. Anyone can read the relevelant rot regs as I posted them on another thread. There is a sequence which is not speedy - UNLESS CMAS goes outside their own regs which is very possible as they are very very unhappy.

USOA belongs to all CMASs3 committees; if and when we are removed from the Sports Committee, we still will be a member. And I really wonder if CMAS will start to removed federations from the Sports Committee who are members and active in Fin Swimming? CMAS needs numbers in fin swimming to move toward their Olympic goal, and many of the uw hockey feds also support fin swimming. Sort of hanging self on sour grape vine?
