You're right Rach. Categorizing England/GB/UK in with the European generalization is not what I intended. I know the Brits travel and enjoy doing so, as do a couple of other countries from that region. Perhaps it is just my viewpoint but I never think of the Motherland as European much like many do not consider Canadians as Americans even though they are one of the three countries that make up North America.

My apparently unclear point was trying to get to why Europe is so important in Steve's eyes in regards to Hockey. He says it is but offers no support. He says WAA would be supported if World's were in Sheffield in March????? How? The countries afraid of playing because of a ban would still be afraid. The distance has nothing to do with it.
