hey duck do you really think we could have tea and cakes...sounds like a yummy party. |
I find it it hilarious that you would say South Africa is too far for European countries. I believe our (USA) two best options in flight routes to SA go through either Frankfurt or London. Perhaps after Europe gets off its "we're Europe" kick then people might give a bigger damn about them not being there. But until they put out effort to go places more than a train ride away you will find little sympathy. Personally I feel more for Columbia, from whom I have never heard complaints about location, because they do make the effort to go but sometimes come up short.
As far as the timing of World's in Sheffield, how was the timing of it last time a bad thing? Seems to me the only side affect is that more countries showed up. Perhaps the blame can be on me for throwing a party but perhaps it could also be put on CMAS for having a policy that would ban anyone for competing. Isn't that what we are supposed to do? And maybe for purposely scheduling a Euro Champs at the same time? yeah, maybe that's the bad timing.... hmmmm
We'll have all the King's Teas and then some. And of course the cake will be yummy.
