i know that its just the same in general play... i was just trying to make the question a little more specific so people would not be able to talk about too many different situations. also the discussion among the many players i have heard lately mainly involved the penalty shot so i figured i might as well include it in my question.

and also im not too sure about that swim it straight in technique... it sounds great and all, but what if right off the touch of the puck the defender swims out at you. then you are just making it easier for them to get the puck because all they have to do is make sure your fancy little move doesn't get by them or that a shot doesn't happen either.

what would your next move be if the defender immideatly jumps off the wall??
