Underwater Hockey New Zealand seeks to invite at least one secondary school team to attend our secondary Schools Nationals each year. For 2007 we have a team from Longatha coming across to Christchurch

In 2008 we have two options-
One is a tour to play in the Northern (30 teams) and Central (30 teams) or South island (15 teams) Schools tournaments in June. ie Come for ten days and play in 2 tournaments.

Alternatively play in the National Championships in August 08 with 40 teams. If your keen on organising a team please e-mail schools@underwaterhockey.org.nz

2009
Underwater Hockey New Zealand will host the 25th version of our Secondary School Nationals in 2009.

We have booked the QEII Pool, Christchurch for the event and we intend on hosting the largest Underwater Hockey Tournament in the World. At this stage we plan to run 4 courts to allow at least 20 teams per divison and at least 80 teams in total to participate.

NZ has approximately 75 teams so we need at least 5 overseas teams to fill the budgeted draw.

If you want to see what and how we do things why don't you bring a team to attend the tournament.
