Yes, now that Doug mentioned it - I haven't heard about any of this through "official channels" either until the podcast with the WTD (if not official, at least from the horses mouth) on this Forum. I am on the committee of the Australian Underwater Hockey Association and have not received any communication regarding this.

I also noticed that the WTD is also the Federal President (as of November last year) of the Australian Underwater Federation, which is the governing body for underwater sports and amateur diving in Australia as well as the administrative body for CMAS (!) in Australia. This seems a bit strange to me, that he would seek that position whilst at the same time pulling uwh away from CMAS. The WTD must be becoming one big pain-in-the-proverbial to CMAS! (I wonder if "hendo" has become a new french swear word). :lol:
