On behalf of everyone who attended the first Warragul Comp, I'd like to extend a massive thank you to Belinda for initiating and organising the event. It was great to see so many people at the Warragul pool, one which has seen the development of many World-class underwater hockey players. By the looks of junior competition on Saturday, there will be many more to come!

Also a big thanks to Steve Dunn from Wonthaggi, for organising to bring up the Wonthaggi Juniors which made for an enjoyable evening of junior UWH. I could count 8 awesome junior girls under the age of 16 there... the making of a very exciting future for Victorian women's UWH.

Thank you also goes to the man with the whistle - Carl Keeley, and Emily Bell who did an awesome job behind the scenes controlling the mayhem on pool deck.

We all look forward to another comp next year - and hopefully the Baw Baw shire council will approve the 50m pool with UWH friendly superfast tiles!!!!
