Basic stuff. No need to get fancy when you are working on fundamentals. And keep the moves small and controlled. A few to start with are:

Figure 8 -- all directions, using whatever parts of the stick you can.

Pyramid and upside-down pyramid -- go point to point in various combinations.

Ttic-tac -- just moving the puck around the board going from front to back of stick by lifting the stick over the puck. Do this in all spots from close to your body to fully extended. Go side to side as well as forward and back.
