| yes liam if you eat pasta on its own u wont be bloated as your only eating carbs,if you add steak with it then your mixing protein and the carbs, thats what causes wind and bloatedness.
unfortunatley i dont practice what i recommend,i find it very hard to eat just carbs in one meal and then just protein in another but aprantley thats what some nutrionists have recommended me
liam, dont knock a formula until you have tried it and tested it.
clark quoted
"ps; Steve, you can't recommend an eating program and then tell everyone that you couldn't preform at training. The problem with your performance was your superior diet."
clark,i just recommended a few tips in how liam could mix his proteins and carbs,i didnt give him a diet plan.
and i surely dont have a superior diet plan.
but i find how you mix your foods determins how the energy is processed and how it feeds the body.
yes,of course if we all go out and eat 15 potatoes and raw fish and 10 kgs of pasta, yeah of course we are going to gain weight.
i've been there, finding myself stuffing my face with anything that has the words protein on it or carbs, just to get huge..
yeah been there 10 years ago and i dont think its the way forward, especially as we get older.
clever thinking in diet plan...,if we can think so cleverly in game tactics, why not outside the pool.
about my problem in training
in general im happy enough with my energy that i have at the moment(although i dont have a job at the moment so that may change soon enough),theres only one person that can tell you that you dont have enough carbs and thats your body, but you have to be aware of it and listen to it.eg dizzy spells, mouth ulcers, regular fatigueness etc..
although many factors may have caused those muscles not to work after the weight training workout.
the scientific factors im not sure, maybe its bad to push the muscle hard after weight training as they are damaged already,i'm really not sure,so lets see if it comes up in the podcast
other factors
well it had been my 6th day training in a row, first time back to the gym,ive been out of training for a while
and also im 35.
although the fuel i give my body is sufficient, other factors may have hampered that paticular training exercise.
i'm looking forward to hearing the podcast.
previously i did request a whole thread on dietry which i think is really important.
